Life's A Beach, of Simi Valley, California, remodeled an existing location of the salon and brought the name to life with a tropical beach theme. A mural of sand, sea and sky in the entry and down the hallway immediately sets the mood and opens up the space. The treatment rooms, each named after a tropical locale, feature an original painting of their namesake and deep, lush colors on the walls. A soft circle of sea and sky holds the room name painted on each door.

| "Katy has done the most beautiful creations for our tanning salons that you have ever seen. We have three tanning salons in Simi Valley and each one of them is a unique experience to see. We are constantly getting compliments on the artistic work that has been done in each of them. Our most impressive salon is our salon on Tapo Canyon where Katy painted an underwater mural on the hall walls. She painted all kinds of fish, coral, sea plants and a sea turtle that looks like you could reach out and touch it. "A calming island in a sea of stress...": this is the philosophy and atmosphere of Yelka Day Spa in Los Altos, California. The "Island of Tranquility" mural located behind the reception desk greets customers and enhances the calming effect of entering the spa. The scene: gazing out from the ruins of a castle, overlooking the harbor and the island, is inspired by Croatia's Dalmation coast.
