The most beautiful thing about paint, besides all the colors, is its unlimited potential. Once something is imagined, that energy awaits a life in paint. With thoughtful design, pride in craftsmanship, and attention to detail, Art by KD brings these imaginings to life.

Kathryn is a versatile artist in style and approach with a sense of freshness and spirit. She enjoys working with a client to develop and execute an idea as well as expressing her own. She started Art by KD six years ago with over 20 years experience painting (fine art and rooms) and a B.A. degree in Fine Art from Stanford University.

Art by KD is located in Chatsworth, California, in Los Angeles County, and available for work throughout the state and beyond.

"I had a small guest bathroom with an existing counter top that wasn't going to be replaced any time soon. It was difficult to choose a paint color that would complement the color of the counter top. The color I ended up choosing was a complete disaster. Katy came over with pictures of her work and color samples. She assessed the situation and suggested a blend of colors that would enlarge the small space and take the focal point away from the not so attractive counter top. The result was amazing. The room does not feel so small and the counter top fades away. I was so happy with how the guest bathroom turned out that I had her do a second bathroom and a cabinet. Katy's work is beautiful. She is extremely neat and clean and very proficient in getting the job done. I couldn't be happier with her services."
